Adam Fuchs, CTO and Co-Founder of sqrrl, does a whiteboard explanation of creating fine-grained security for big data environments and how sqrrl tackles the challenge of bringing security to the big data application ecosystem.
Last week was SiliconANGLE's Big Data week, with intense coverage coming out of IBM's Information on Demand conference as well as O'Reilly and Cloudera's Strata conference out of New York City. Every year brings proof that big data is not just a passing fad, and this year was no exception. SiliconANGLE highlighted the returning "tech athletes," namely Cloudera and Intel, observed some of the more intriguing new kids on the block, such as Rent the Runway and Sqrrl, and watched new themes evolve, such as real-time analytics and the new presence of venture capital firms at the event. Here to give a Big Data Week post wrap-up is SiliconAngle Founding Editor Mark "Rizzin" Hopkins, who dropped in for this morning's NewsDesk segment with Kristin Feledy.
