John Furrier, cohost of theCUBE, from the SiliconANGLE Media team, interviewed Ping Li, general partner at Accel Partners, during VMWorld 2015 to talk about our current time of innovation. ‘That’s not a big enough idea’” The trends and the pace of change we see happening are creating new opportunities. Businesses are either going to keep up or they are going to turn over to new start-ups that can embrace the times. Talking about how technology is building upon itself, Li said,“You are getting these layering affects, where each layer is creating an opportunity for another layer to abstract and build another company.” This is creating opportunity for tech start-ups at an unprecedented rate. The next big opportunity “Our job is to find the entrepreneur that knows how to see around the corner,” said Li. His company is looking for the people who are solving problems and making waves in the tech sphere so they can support and scale the ideas worth investing in.
