Bias in the Workplace Mackenzie talks about how bias affects the way we view ourselves and what our vocabulary does to support our biases. In the workplace, these means everything from talking about accomplishments and personalities in evaluations, to limiting people’s ability to progress because of perceptions. Bias in the workplace has been shown to limit the way women are perceived and provide more opportunities to men based only on gender, not qualifications.
