Inside theCUBE the trio discuss the recent Hortonworks/Microsoft collaboration of a new Hadoop Platform. John Kreisa is the Vice President of Marketing at Hortonworks. Kreisa talks about Hortonworks' decision to partner with Microsoft, and their reasoning behind it. Their goal is to make the new Hadoop Platform as broadly and quickly available as possible. The new platform makes it possible to run Hadoop on Windows servers, ultimately cornering the market by being the only data platform compatible with both Windows and Linux.
