Day two of Velocity Conference 2013 starts inside theCUBE with SiliconAngle founder John Furrier and Jeff Frick hosting Ilya Grigorik, the Developer Advocate for High Performance with Google. Obviously, for Google, speed is an essential resource. As John Furrier pointed out, "the faster the pages load on the internet, the faster people click on Google links." As for design integration, Velocity is where developers can meet and network and brainstorm idea for new designs. The main focus, however, is the end result, which is always customer satisfaction. As long as a product best meets the needs of the consumer, developers are doing their products justice. On that note, Grigorik had this to say, "Performance is just means to an end" "It all about user experience." We have to make sure that we deliver products that satisfy the customers' needs.
