During Oracle OpenWorld 2015, John Furrier and Dave Vellante, of theCUBE, from theSiliconANGLE Media team, talked about the Oracle Commerce Cloud with Gosek and Chris Shutts, VP of CPQ cloud development at Oracle. ‘Customers can leverage our product to become a marketplace’ Gosek and Shutts are excited about the fast adoption of the Oracle Commerce Cloud by companies, big and small, across the nation. The flexible and scalable SaaS solution enables local companies, such as Texas-based women’s fashion brand and retailer Elaine Turner, to compete with global online retailers. “Small retailers can take advantage of an enterprise-grade platform in the cloud,” explained Gosek. Responding to Furrier’s question about responsive design, Gosek stated that mobile is no longer just “nice to have,” but is the “key stakes.” “All of our customers are moving towards responsive,” Gosek said. Shutts discussed the benefits of using Oracle Configure, Price and Quote (CPQ) Cloud, explaining how it enables sales reps to “sell more and sell faster.” @theCUBE #oow15
