Dell reliability + Nutanix innovation makes for a strong team | #NEXTConf

Production collaboration between industry veteran Dell, Inc. and newcomer Nutanix has led to the Dell XC Series having the fastest pipeline ramp in Dell history. Speaking at the first Nutanix user conference, Travis Vigil of Dell Storage stated, “The storage aspect of what Nutanix does is absolutely critical to the success of software-defined and hyper-converged infrastructure web-scale type offerings.”
The industry-leading capabilities and reliability of Dell-powered servers are combined with Nutanix’s hyper-converged software, creating web-scale converged appliances based on a foundation that allows for layering in increasing concentric circles, starting with key applications.
Adding Nutanix into the Dell blueprint strategy
As Vigil told theCUBE, “We have a heavy collaboration with our EUC team, we have an end-to-end Cloud client computing solution, or VDI solution, inclusive of end points, and inclusive of networking, and inclusive of some of the key software titles, and we are in process of including Nutanix into the Dell blueprint strategy.”
The dedication and fanaticism of the Nutanix fanbase reminds Vigil of the early days of other companies that have gone on to be extremely successful. He is excited to be part of the Dell-Nutanix collaborative team: “I feel like I’m at the beginning of something very big and am honored to be a part of it.”
