theCUBE cohosts Dave Vellante and Jeff Frick settled in for a second day of interviews at IBM Vision, held May 18 to 20 in Orlando, Florida.
On Day Two, IBM executives and other business leaders discuss how to unlock key insights using Big Data and cognitive technology with Watson Analytics. During the morning keynote, IBM clients explained how they use analytics in their organizations.
Answering questions about the analytics platform
“We always like to hear more customer use cases,” said cohost Jeff Frick. “I liked how one speaker said he was able to show his CFO the analytics platform and asked him, ‘What questions do you want to know?’” Frick also pointed to the discussion on computer science versus math and statistics as an interesting segment.
“Today, we’re looking at how analytics is supercharging governance risk compliance, sales performance management, decision management. We’ll see how IBM is approaching that and how companies plan to achieve their business outcomes.”
