Natalia Rodriguez, software developer at Indicative, Inc., a data analysis start-up, talked to John Furrier and Jeff Frick, cohosts of theCUBE, from the SilconANGLE Media team, during the Grace Hopper Celebration for Women in Computing 2015 in Houston, Texas. How to get more women in tech According to Rodriquez, who is also on the board of trustees for the Anita Borg Institute, one of the ways she believes more women can be introduced to tech is through hands-on experiences. “I’m a big advocate for that avenue as an introduction for young girls,” she said. “I think doing tangible technology can be a huge door to let girls in.” The Grace Hopper conference Grace Hopper both brings women in tech together to talk about the field and is a tech conference with releases and features. According to Rodriguez, it is a very diverse conference covering a range of topics and interests for woman who want to get involved in the world of technology. @theCUBE #GHC15 @AnitaB_org #AnitaB @theCUBE #theCUBE @SiliconANGLE theCUBE @Grace Hopper Academy #GHC
