The interview starts with a lot of talk abuot Splunk's start, before Big Data took off. Splunk has competitive advantage, according to Vellante, due to their new product about to release, HUNK.
Sharp states there is great feedback because they are looking at all the angles, and are ironing out all the kinks in order to make the product work with all of their clients data.
"Making it work as efficiently as possible" seems to be the key.
