In this interview from the Bank of America Private Tech Trailblazers Conference 2026, Luis Silva, chief executive officer and founder of CloudWalk, joins theCUBE's John Furrier to discuss how the Brazilian fintech is scaling agentic AI across banking services for small businesses. Silva details CloudWalk's three consumer-facing brands — InfinitePay, Pierre.finance and JIM.com — which together serve more than 10 million active users and have driven the company past $2 billion in revenue at high profitability. He explains how CloudWalk built its own GPU cluster nearly three years ago, giving it full-stack control over the agents that now handle the majority of daily customer interactions, with strict guardrails to keep hallucination low given the stakes of handling customers' money.
The conversation also explores how shifting regulatory tides are reshaping stablecoins and crypto adoption, with Silva noting that the U.S. is now moving faster than Brazil in building supportive frameworks. He highlights CloudWalk's efficiency at scale, citing $2.7 million in revenue per employee and a jump from 65% to 99% automation of customer support handled by agents, freeing human teams to focus on deeper customer relationships. Silva argues that vertically integrated, industry-specific agents represent the next evolution beyond general-purpose assistants, giving small sellers access to AI capabilities once reserved for Fortune 500 companies. He also reflects on investor sentiment at the conference, where agentic AI dominates conversation and vertical integration is increasingly seen as a competitive advantage. From Brazil's early stablecoin experiments to building a financial AI stack from the ground up, Silva offers a founder's perspective on solving real customer problems as the enduring formula for success in the AI era.

>> (INTRO)Hello, I'm John Furrier. We are here in Palo Alto, heart of Silicon Valley. This is my hometown, of course, where all the action is. Of course, we have our studio in Palo Alto and New York City at the NYSE. This is our NYSE Wired program. Coverage of the BofA Private Tech Trailblazers event. Luis Silva here is the CEO and founder of CloudWalk from Brazil. He flew up just for the conference to hang out with us and the investors. Good to see you. Thanks for coming on.
Luis Silva
>> No, my pleasure. Thanks for inviting
John Furrier
>> me.So I really appreciate you giving me the pointers for February to come to Brazil. We'll make a mental note of that for theCUBE. And all kidding aside, this event really brings the trailblazers, the people who are inventing the future, who are driving a lot of value, escape velocity, pre-IPO growth. Investors are here. Talk about what you guys are doing because you have an agentic piece of business in the financial world. So financial stack, what do you call it? Talk about what you do. Explain.
Luis Silva
>> Yeah, sure. So we are a tech company. So we provide banking and financial services for small sellers and consumers. We have 3 brands. One is called InfinitePay. It's the leading financial brand for small sellers in Brazil. The other one we just launched, it's called Pierre, pierre.finance. It's a French name. It's a black cat. You connect your bank accounts using open finance and our agents start to take care of your money. In the United States, we launched last year, JIM.com. That's a brand that helps small sellers, plumbers, painters, flower shops to sell more, to accept payments, to manage money in a better way. So between these 3 brands, we have more than 10 million active users. The company's growing really fast. We crossed $2 billion in revenue, super profitable.
John Furrier
>> How many billions?
Luis Silva
>> $2 billion.
John Furrier
>> $2 billion, great, okay, good numbers.
Luis Silva
>> And growing.
John Furrier
>> Profitable?
Luis Silva
>> Profitable.
John Furrier
>> Of course.
Luis Silva
>> Hundreds of millions in profits. And growing like high double digits.
John Furrier
>> So I have to ask, CloudWalk. So I'm assuming you're born in the cloud.
Luis Silva
>> Yeah, the whole company, the whole technology runs in the cloud.
John Furrier
>> Okay. So take me through the success milestones because first of all, congratulations on the huge performance and the United States and North America launch. That's awesome. Venmo is great for sending my kids money, but if you're going to run a business, you got to have more, stronger trust. Talk about the success. When was the breakthrough?
Luis Silva
>> I think the company was founded in 2013, right? So from 2013 up to 2018, we developed the whole technology. So the payment processing, the ledgers, the issuing, the blockchain piece, even AI. We have been using AI since 2016. So you're using models to avoid fraud. To guarantee privacy, to generate trust with our customers. And in 2019, we launched the brand called InfinitePay. So the value proposition was pretty simple. How can we give money to our customers, the sellers, faster and cheaper? And how can we help them to grow their business? Because if they grow their business, they sell more, I make more money, they win, I win.
John Furrier
>> Yeah.
Luis Silva
>> So that was the breakthrough.
John Furrier
>> That was the flywheel. So you kind of not just made a transactional thing. You went, compounded the value with helping them grow their business, which keeps the customer flywheel going.
Luis Silva
>> Yeah.
John Furrier
>> All right. Talk about crypto. You mentioned that. So we're seeing outside the United States stablecoins, starting to see crypto becoming a really great way to be part of the payment system. How does that factor in?
Luis Silva
>> It's a really great question because up to 2 years ago in Brazil, the central bank president of Brazil, Roberto Campos Neto, supported a lot of crypto projects, blockchain projects, and the country developed this framework for stablecoins and for blockchain projects. And at that time, US was not that supportive in regards to crypto and stablecoin. And now things changed. So the US government is supporting stablecoins a lot, the whole crypto industry, the crypto legislation. And our Brazilian government, the Brazilian Central Bank, it's kind of taking more of a careful approach to regulation in in regards to that.
John Furrier
>> It's not stormy. It's okay. It's getting better. Is it growing? Do you think it's going to be bigger there? You think it's going to take off?
Luis Silva
>> I think the US, especially with these new regulations, it's going to grow really fast.
John Furrier
>> Yeah. The banks get involved. CLARITY Act. All good. We've been covering that on Crypto Trailblazers. We'll have to take a look at that, maybe have you come on that because I think, outside the United States in areas where global commerce, Bitcoin works great, currency works great.
Luis Silva
>> Yeah.
John Furrier
>> People want stablecoins. Let's talk about the cloud thing. I want to get back to that. One of the big things we're seeing right now in the enterprise market and these hyperscalers is, they all have compute. NVIDIA is helping with the supercomputing capabilities. AMD is growing. Everyone's growing. So it's not the GPU anymore. It's other things. How do you guys handle the compute piece? Do you have your own AI infrastructure? Can you share how you guys are building? Because you have— if you're going to have GenAI tech, you want to have some end-to-end control, I'd imagine. Can you share how you're thinking about the architecture?
Luis Silva
>> Yes, we do have our own cluster. So we have hundreds of Blackwell GPUs. We built this cluster almost 3 years ago. So we were a super early mover on that trend. From the 10 million monthly active users I mentioned, half of them are talking on a daily basis with our agents, be it the agents like the agents for the SMB seller that we call JIM in Brazil and United States, or be it the buyer agents that help the consumers. So all those millions of consumers and customers we have, they talk with our agents and our agents are being hosted in our own cloud infrastructure with our own GPUs. So we are full
John Furrier
>> stack, So you're managing all that quality in your
Luis Silva
>> system?Yeah, yeah, we are
John Furrier
>> controlling Talk about the agent interaction with AI. Obviously tokens are involved. Tokens, there's two types of tokens, crypto tokens. Let's talk about AI tokens. Tokens equals revenue. You have to produce intelligence from those systems. That's where the agents come in. Explain what your agent plans are or strategy and what you're executing on, because a lot of people are getting confused now about agents. They're seeing stories. Agents going rogue. agents just do what they're told. If they're not told or governed properly, they'll go find the answer, break into a few databases maybe if they have to. They're smart. What are you doing with agents? And because people want trust when it comes to banking.
Luis Silva
>> Yeah.
John Furrier
>> Take us through how you handle that, your agentic piece as it fits to finance.
Luis Silva
>> As we are a regulated financial institution, we take a different approach when we were planning and developing all these agents. So the first rule that we follow is the agents, they should obey all the commands that the human, the owner of the agent is saying to the agent. And the level of hallucination should be really, really low because they're dealing with money, right? So you can't get that wrong. Yeah, you cannot get the money wrong for the human, the owner of the agent. Otherwise the human is going to be pretty pissed off. And our idea is how can we help our customers to grow? To make more money, not to lose money. So during the development of the agent, that was one of the factors that we put in the core DNA of our agents. So these guardrails, so these protections, because when the agents are moving money to our customers, this is a pretty big thing.
John Furrier
>> Talk about this culture of, I call it the tsunami of small, medium-sized businesses. You have the big corporations, the big enterprises, of course, but you have a huge market of sellers.
Luis Silva
>> Oh yeah.
John Furrier
>> Everywhere now, all around the world, and it's global markets. So talk about that impact and also why the United States is a good strategy to tie that together.
Luis Silva
>> Awesome question. I think the big enterprise, the Fortune 500 companies, they have access to OpenAI, to Anthropic. They can make big contracts and deals with those guys and have the access to the latest and the best. The small sellers, they just want to grow their business. So if I can get AI agents in the hands of the small sellers and tell to them, okay, use JIM.com, that is going to help you to grow your business. You are going to make more money. I'm going to make more money. So it's a win-win situation. Our mission is to give the small seller, the small guy, the entrepreneur, the bad shit, the best AGI that can help them to grow their business or manage their financial life.
John Furrier
>> Luis, I will share that my observation is I'm in agreement with you. I've been studying this for now 4 years and it comes up. Everyone always says, oh, we're going to lose jobs and all the negative narrative. But if you look at what AI does, when you have intelligence, it actually makes the small players punch way above their weight. Oh yeah, they do. They can do more. And the bigger companies that don't have all this bureaucracy, they're slower. So the small get bigger faster with AI. Can you share examples where you've seen— I've seen direct examples. In fact, most startups saying I'm not hiring more people, they're actually shrinking their headcount or maintaining the levels and the earnings are higher. And so it's not a growth metric anymore saying you hired X number of people this quarter. No, because you can do more with less with AI. But the small guys can have full service. Capabilities. This is huge to your business.
Luis Silva
>> I think you hit the nail on the head because the small guy, they need help. So they're not looking for technology just for technology. They're looking for technology that can help them to grow and make more money. It's simple like that. So if I tell them, okay, this agent, Jim.com, can help you to make more money, it's obvious that they're going to use and try to adopt and grow their business with us. And I think this technology can really improve these communities, these sellers, these entrepreneurs, and even folks who don't know how to manage money, they can manage money using our AI agents. So on the company side, we have one of the highest revenue per employee. We have $2.7 million in revenue per employee. And we have hundreds of agents work inside the company. 1 year and a half ago, 65% of the whole customer support was automated by agents. This year right now, 99% of the customer support is automated by agents. That leaves the humans we have in the company to call the customers, okay, how are you doing? How can I help you more? What kind of needs do you have? This human connection frees the humans to have human connections for our customers and deliver more value in a human way.
John Furrier
>> Luis, great to have you on here. Love the perspective, certainly from Brazil. This investor conference is here. What's it like with the investors here? What are they asking you? What's been some of the reaction? You got great numbers, you got great architecture, you got great revenue per employee metrics. What's some of the hallway conversations you're having and what's been the direct reaction from the investors to your business?
Luis Silva
>> I think this conference is pretty eye-opening because now I can see that all investors, they talk about agents. So all the conversations are about agents. And we have been working in this space for the last few years. We are the financial agent for small sellers and consumers. So vertically integrated. And all of them are really impressed with what we have been building because it's the next evolution of the agents. So these general agents are going to become vertically integrated in each category.
John Furrier
>> What's it like as a founder? Because I've seen this movie. I've been there many times myself. Some cases very wrong, but right. When you see it early and then you come to a conference like this and everyone's talking about it, yeah, we were doing that. We did all that years ago. Now as we're up and running and we did what everyone wants everyone else to do. What's it like as a founder? Because a lot of times you're misunderstood and you go, no, we're going to land this. We're going to land this plane. It's happening?
Luis Silva
>> Yeah, I think it's an awesome feeling because the first thing you know, and we have been doing for years and years, okay, how can I bring this technology to my customer? If it's AI, if it's blockchain, if it's like apps, how can you fix a big problem for our customer? We know that every time we bring the best technology to our customer, fixing a big problem, then he's going to pay for that, we are going to be super successful.
John Furrier
>> You know, this is a great example for the folks watching. I get this question a lot. Hey, what's the success formula in the age of AI? There's one formula that has always worked and it's not about doing a decision to get the funding down or being right. You just solve the customer problem. Yep. And Ingenuity was, hey, let's vertically integrate, let's use the data. They're making a payment, we have their data. We know about their business. Let's provide some services to them and make them sticky. Now those decisions were made based on the ability for you to do it.
Luis Silva
>> Yeah.
John Furrier
>> And for the customers to like it and pay you and make more cash.
Luis Silva
>> Yeah. I think if the customer, if you're really fixing a big problem for our customer, he's going to pay you and then you can grow your business because the customer has the last word at the end of the day. Long-term sustainable business.
John Furrier
>> As we say on theCUBE, as Bill Tai, a friend of theCUBE, always says, get that product market fit, get it done right with the customer, and then take out friction and repeat it.
Luis Silva
>> Oh yeah, that's what you guys are doing.
John Furrier
>> Thanks for coming on theCUBE. Appreciate it.
Luis Silva
>> No, my pleasure. Thank you.
John Furrier

Thank you.
