>> Hi, I'm John Furrier with The Cube. We are here at the GSA Awards Gala. This is a celebration for all the award winners. We're part of the backstage program. Charlie Kawwas just won the most respected semiconductor company. Charlie, great to see you. You got the award. You got more coming. You're nominated multiple times. Congratulations.

>> Thank you so much. It's an honor and a pleasure to receive this, especially with the fellow nominees who were in this category.

John Furrier

>> On your speech you gave on this award, you really shouted out to all your partners. A lot of people in that room have either worked for you or will work for you, partner with you, are your customers. I mean, that room is the world of semiconductors right now.

>> It is. It is impressive and it's amazing actually. One of the things I enjoy here is the connections and the networking we actually do with a lot of the peers we have and the partners, like you said.

John Furrier

>> Talk about the collaboration in this industry. How important is the collaboration amongst this community as the Cube has a relationship with GSA, we're growing into learning more about how important the technical and the business collaboration is.

>> One of the things you and I talked about in Mobile World Congress, if you still remember, OSP.

John Furrier

>> Yes.

Charlie Kawwas

>> The O stands for open and you can't really be in an open environment without collaboration. And so my view is collaboration is at the heart of what we do in semiconductors. You can't get everything from a single company. You need fabs, you need test equipment, you need chip manufacturers, you need software, and you need people who pull all of this together.

John Furrier

>> Well, Charlie, you and your team have been rewarded. Obviously the stock price is high with the performance this year in the market. Next year is looking really good. Keep the supply chain going. Keep the performance coming. Get those networking interconnects faster, smaller, more scalable. Thank you so much and congratulations for the award. We appreciate what you do.
