In this interview from the GSA Awards Celebration, Jensen Huang, chief executive officer of NVIDIA, joins theCUBE’s John Furrier backstage after accepting the award for "Most Respected Public Company." Huang shares his enthusiasm for the current trajectory of the sector, describing himself as "completely fired up" about the impact the semiconductor community is having on the world. He outlines how the industry is currently reinventing computing as we know it, shifting from general-purpose software distribution to the creation of "intelligence factories" that generate intelligence and tokens in real time.
The conversation dives into the sheer scale of this transformation, which Huang identifies as the largest growth opportunity in semiconductor history. He explains that these AI factories will soon be ubiquitous – spanning centralized data centers, the edge and autonomous devices like robotics. Huang emphasizes that this shift represents a complete modernization of the technology stack, rebuilding every layer from the ground up for the first time in 60 years to integrate AI into every aspect of the global economy.

Jensen Huang, NVIDIA
In this interview from the GSA Awards Celebration, Gopi Sirineni, founder and chief executive officer of Axiado, joins theCUBE’s John Furrier to discuss the company’s momentum following a significant $100 million Series C+ funding round. Sirineni contextualizes the electric atmosphere of the event, often dubbed the "Semiconductor Oscars," against a backdrop of explosive industry growth driven by AI, networking and optical advancements. He shares his perspective on the current semiconductor boom, comparing it to the industry's rise 30 years ago, and emphasizes that despite fears of market hype, the sector is only scratching the surface of AI infrastructure's potential.
The conversation delves into Axiado’s strategic role in securing AI infrastructure through its Secure Control Module (SCM), which integrates AI features to enhance platform security and management efficiency across various compute architectures. Sirineni outlines how the fresh capital will fuel a massive ramp-up in operations, sales and supply chains to meet insatiable market demand. With Axiado nominated for a startup award and poised for a pivotal 2026, Sirineni highlights strong customer traction across major AI players and reflects on the broader "reunion" spirit of the event as industry leaders collaborate to build the next generation of data centers.

>> Hi, I'm John Furrier with theCUBE. We are here for the Backstage Awards at the GSA annual event. Jensen needs no introduction, wins the most respected public company.
Jensen Huang
>> Hang on a second.
John Furrier
>> Right here. There's the award.
Jensen Huang
>> There you go.
John Furrier
>> I know your jet lagged, you've been traveling around. We've seen all your events at your DC event.
Jensen Huang
>> I'm happy to be here.
John Furrier
>> We appreciate you.
Jensen Huang
>> I'm fired up.
John Furrier
>> How do you feel up there?
Jensen Huang
>> I'm completely fired up.
John Furrier
>> How do you feel about that?
Jensen Huang
>> I'm completely fired up.
John Furrier
>> You talked about the community up on stage. I thought it was very heartfelt. First of all, of all the CEO keynotes I've watched over the past 30 years, you use the word computer science and physics more than anyone else. So one, hats to that. You mentioned this industry, community, and what it means to the society and the world, the growth, not only the growth, but the impact. Talk about that piece because I think that is coming out of this event this year. It's more crowded than ever. There's more buzz in the industry and it's just the beginning.
Jensen Huang
>> Yeah.
John Furrier
>> Explain your thoughts behind that because this is on a road that's not travel, as you said, for NVIDIA. The long game is just starting for the industry.
Jensen Huang
>> Yeah. Well, we're reinventing computing as we know it. What was general purpose computing, software written by engineers, pre-computed, distributed as binaries, are no longer that way. And what's important now is that we're creating these what we call AI data centers, but essentially intelligence factories that are generating intelligence in real time. And depending on the context, depending on maybe the memory, maybe depending on the type of questions you're asking the AI, it's going to generate the intelligence in real time. And these computers are going to be producing these, what we call tokens, but intelligence for all kinds of different applications, all kinds of different use cases for billions of people and for many industries. And so the number of computers, the number of these factories that we have to build around the world is going to be extraordinary. This is the largest semiconductor opportunity in history.
John Furrier
>> And everyone in that room is a participant, customer of yours, employee of yours, or maybe an ex employee or future employee. This industry is coming together. You also talk about the word computers and the changing computer. If the computer revolution goes the next level, it's distributed computing with factories. What does that look like? Because now you're going to have AI factories literally everywhere. Not only just big factories, edge factories, devices going to be playing a role. Everything plays a role in a completely distributed computer globally.
Jensen Huang
>> Yeah. Well, we're going to be generating intelligence out of these computers from all over. Sometimes they're centralized. We call them AI factories. Sometimes they'll be distributed. That would be at the edge. They might even be processed completely in real time inside the systems themselves, for example, robotic systems. And so AI is utterly transformative in every possible imaginable way. And that's why I say we're reinventing computing from the ground up every single layer of the tech stack for the first time in literally 60 years. And so when you think about how long the computers have been in society, how deeply integrated it's already into all of the industries and use cases, and how we're going to completely modernize it over the course of the next decade, the amount of growth opportunity that's been created for the semiconductor industry is extraordinary.
John Furrier
>> You've changed the computer industry, NVIDIA, your company, your employees, your customers. Congratulations.
Jensen Huang
>> Thank you.
John Furrier
>> It's going next level and well deserved award. Thanks for spending time-
Jensen Huang
>> Thank you very much.
John Furrier
>> You're busy. Appreciate you.
Jensen Huang
>> My great pleasure. Thank you.
John Furrier
>> Thank you. I'm John Furrier with theCUBE. Thanks for watching. Fast and Furious Awards are coming. Jensen and Nvidia clearly changing the computer industry. Thanks for watching.
