>> Hello, welcome back to theCUBE. I'm John Furrier, host of theCUBE. Dave Vellante, Savannah Peterson, our whole team is here. Team coverage with Google Next 2024. Day three, as we break down and dig into some of the key transformational issues. One of them is how do you get to the cloud? How do you get distributed computing working? With a great lineup here with Kyndryl, Fernando with Kyndryl. Ignacio and Moises from Pavisa. They make a really interesting product. You hear more about it, but really it's a story about the transfers, leveraging the cloud and moving things more efficiently. AI is giving us a tailwind of innovation. Gentlemen, thank you for coming on theCUBE. Appreciate it.>> Thank you for me being here.>> Thank you.>> All right. So let's get into Pavisa, your company. You guys are working with Kyndryl. We'll get into Kyndryl in a second. Talk about what you guys do. Very fascinating business, but the project you're working on is large, and it's transformative. Talk about what you guys do, and what you're working on.>> So, Pavisa Group has 29 companies within it. Each company doing its own stuff, but with the same focus for everyone; quality and commitment with the client. So some of the key brands are Pavisa Looks. We make the bottles for tequila. I don't know if you like tequila.>> Of course, I love tequila. You make the bottles. So you don't make the tequila, but you make the bottles.>> We make the bottles.>> So you're manufacturing the bottles. Spec them out.>> With the glass.>> And now everyone's doing the whole, we were talking before on camera, celebrities are having their own tequila.>> Yeah.>> They have their own customer base. I mean, great. I love that. theCUBE should have their own tequila.>> Yeah.>> Maybe someday. Okay, but that's an important part, but there's a lot going on.>> Okay. Yeah, we also have Nouvel Studio, that's more like an artistic high-end bottle, and glass here, tabletop. So cups, stemwares, everything. And well, for the other part, we chose Kyndryl to be our partner, because they have a really good collaborative mindset. Strong reputation on the market, and their ability to understand our vision, and adapt to our needs, and made them the ideal partners. So it made sense.>> You guys are doing a transformation around SAP inside the 29 companies.>> Yeah.>> Yeah.>> And they all got their own thing going. They have their own kingdoms, some little fiefdoms.>> Exactly.>> Silos.>> Yeah.>> So I'm sure they're kind of holding it on, but you're really kind of bringing it all together, the whole one unified system. Is it in the cloud and on-prem or all of the cloud?>> All in the cloud. When we decide migrate all operations of Grupo Pavisa to GCP on SIP S4, the main situation is, we work in silos. But this is a very strong project we thought, because all the companies can be, talk the same language.>> Got it. On Kyndryl's side, Fernando, talk about the relationship with these guys. What's the scope of the project? Give us a sense of the complexity, the scale, and then Google's, how Google Cloud fits into this.>> Sure.>> This is for sure a really complex deal. But in Kyndryl, we attack this project with a consultative perspective. So the first thing was to understand the business requirement, the technological implication, and especially the timeline, which was really, really aggressive. Then, and thanks to these two gentlemen, this was quite simple actually, because they were, since the beginning, really open and clear about the business expectations. So for us, build and design, this holistic solution was quite easy. And the second part, which I consider really important, is working together with the ecosystem. Complex deal for sure. But working with SAP, with Google Cloud allowed us to cover all the technical requirements, and to focus on the business expectations. So I think that communication and the ecosystems are key word to the success of this project.>> One of the things coming out of Google Cloud next this year is how obviously the infrastructure, everyone's talking about that. We cover that like a blanket. Obviously, faster chips, more powerful systems, that enables the AI to be better. And so, the clear path here is, get to the AI benefits. And so, a lot of these transformations are kind of mandated to be fast. I saw a deployment where they connected 20-something offices, locations, in three weeks, networking. That would've been like six months in the old days.>> Yeah. With a lot.>> Maybe eight, 10. They did it in three weeks. They rolled out their entire platform before they even issued the PO. They're still in freemiums here. It's a different company. But again, this is the trend. Once you get leveled up into the cloud, a lot more happens. How do you guys view that? Speed's important, so you have to force a lot of change through the 29 companies. Are they all in, or?>> Rock or something.>> Do they understand that there's benefits on the other side of the line?>> Pavisa has over 70 years on the market, and we're clear that the next few years are super important for Pavisa's future, so we got to be fast. You've said it. I don't know if you realize.>> What are some of the challenges you guys see with that? Is it technical? Is it operational?>> Technical? I don't think so, because Kyndryl is the strong partner of technology, but maybe... We can do. I generate a very strong training plan to all the people, because maybe it's one of the most important points to do in this migration.>> Yeah. Talk about the Google, because Google Cloud has their own industry teams. Because you see in these verticals where there are benefits. Take us through. What's it like in the project? What are some of the key requirements, considerations? Is it data? Is it the SAP running on the cloud? Can you take us through some of the key components of this transformation?>> Okay. The first one, the data. We need consult and analysis more faster the data. We need more predictable, because actually, in our data warehouse, it's a classic data warehouse. We need move to a new technology. We need predictable data, no? With internal and external outputs to do graphics more important to their business.>> Fernando, on your side, what's it like with Kyndryl? You guys do a lot of transformations.>> Yes.>> How are you guys recommending they roll this out? Because speed is a concern. SAP is known quantity, but it's running things. It's like the airplane's in the air. It's hard to just, you don't want to ground the airplane, so you got to keep the systems running. How do you guys handle all that?>> We always talk about run and transform. I think this is a project that attack both parts. Okay? One thing that Moises mentioned is about the communication, and how to involve all the people in the company to understand that we are facing, not only a technological deal, but this is a transformational project for the whole company and group. So the communication is being key. Having the support of the board is a critical point. And we are actually really excited about this project. There was never a doubt about the technology. It was more about how the people is going to react. We are facing that, and we truly believe in Google Cloud capabilities, SAP, and this partnership that we have developed together with Pavisa.>> How's the project going right now? What's the current status? What's the reaction been, and how do you guys feel about it?>> You want to tell us about it?>> Ignacio's smiling. He's happy.>> It's on track, of course.>> Well, I think it's been good. The relationship with Kyndryl is nice. I think implementations always have their stoppers. It's normal. But I think at the moment, we're really happy with our choosing of partners. And I don't know, Moi, you want to add something about it?>> No. Kyndryl operated our six tower controls in 90 technicals. Like data warehouse, SAP, SOC, all the operation of Pavisa, Kyndryl's operating the system. But they have three most important innovation projects to Grupo Pavisa. One of them is the migration to SAP S4 in CRM and IRP, and the new data warehouse. This is the most three important projects, and these have a place to 18 next month.>> So the data warehouse is a big part of this?>> Yeah.>> Those are the jewels.>> Yes.>> I have to ask a personal question. Transformation projects could be grueling for some to go easier. Certainly, speed is also going to put a lot of pressure. What is the coolest thing that you guys are involved in the project that you like? What are some of the things that's going great, that you think is super cool to talk about? Because a lot of people don't understand that actually these transfers could happen faster. So share some of the coolness of the project. What do you think's the coolest part of the project?>> Maybe the knowledge. What is the correct implementation of EA? It's very interesting. Jewel, it's a very huge project. And programming the automatas. I think this is the most important part.>> Yeah. What about you? What's the coolest part?>> For me, it's been the process of learning, from Kyndryl, from the project. And personally it's been life changing for me.>> Got it. And the business impact is what? Faster bottles off the line? Customization? What's the business outcome that you guys are threading to? Efficiency?>> It's all in one. Automatization, efficiency. Reports in real time, and all the technological is strategic.>> So if I want to have a Cube tequila brand, okay? What would I do?>> Call me.>> We got millions of viewers out there. If everyone bought a bottle, we have a whole new revenue stream. No, but->> Per person.... >> this has been part of the business. I mean, customization. I just did a five-day robotics thing in the New York Stock Exchange with theCUBE, manufacturing's got AI in the robotics, which is a whole nother set of data coming in. So you're starting to see multipurpose manufacturing, so I can see how people adopting their own tequila could be big. How does that impact you guys? You have multiple lines coming in? Do people have different orders? Is that part of your business? Do you guys do that?>> So I didn't got the question correctly.>> Do you guys manufacture the bottles for different groups?>> Yeah. Within our process and companies, we can offer the personalization of the product. So if you want to have theCUBE with the logo and stuff like that, we can handle that, all the way from the glass. We don't make the tequila, but we know that tequila goes, so.>> We'll see how the feedback comes online on theCUBE.>> I'll be happy to help you.>> We'll be a customer definitely if it comes through. I doubt it, but we'll see. Kyndryl, this is not your first rodeo, as they say. You guys have been doing transformation projects. Just in generally, how has the market changed on the Kyndryl side with Google Cloud and all the goodness coming from the scale? Some of the migration tools are better. A lot of tech is there. You said it's not a problem. How are you guys seeing that translate into the process side? Can you share your thoughts on how that's now affecting this project?>> I think that the first point, and most important, is I think, now board of directors are more aware of technology. So it's not that they're discovering something, they know it's a critical thing to develop the growth as a company. So they are more focused on the change that is going to affect the people in your organization. And that's why working with the ecosystem, again with SAP, Google Cloud, it's crystal clear that they know what they're doing. They know their business. And having a trusted advisor as implementation as Kyndryl is, give the trust to the technological part, and focus more on the business outcome that they're expecting. And I think that's a key word, expectation. It's really important to set the tone, to get to understand where we can go when and how. And then we go the fun part of implementation.>> Moise and Ignacio, on your end, just final question. How do you feel about the project? How do you feel about Kyndryl? What's your take on that? What's your feeling?>> I think we're doing the right things at the right moments. I'm happy with the pace of the project. It's been nice. And as I've said it before, I think Kyndryl are the right guys for the project, and we're happy with them.>> Cool. All right.>> Kyndryl has support us all the digital transformation to Grupo Pavisa, and I'm sure we will work in them after two project with Kyndryl.>> Well guys, great to have you on. Again, I love the conversation with the tequila bottles, made it fun and informative. But this transformation process are happening everywhere. Congratulations and great to have Kyndryl back on theCUBE. Fernando->> Thank you.... >> thanks for coming in. Thanks for coming on.>> Appreciate you.>> For the interview.>> Thank you.>> All right. You heard it here. If you want tequila from theCUBE, we can make it happen. Of course, Kyndryl's here doing all the hard work on transformation. Every industry is transforming, and they're doing it fast. Getting into the cloud takes advantage of all the AI and automation, data, data warehouses all coming into the cloud, only going to get better. Of course, theCUBE's bringing you all the data here at Google Next. I'm John Furrier, host of theCUBE. Thanks for watching.
